Moonpull is delighted to share some significant improvements to the Moonpull platform, currently being used by numerous leading players — networks, agencies and publishers — across the affiliate ecosystem.
As we move into 2026, the Moonpull platform is expanding with: more customisation for additional data points, AI-powered insights, and new collaborative tools that will help networks, publishers, and advertisers work together more effectively — all built on our three years of experience as the only dedicated affiliate auditing platform.
AI Analytics Overlay
For many, the most significant development is the introduction of an AI analytics overlay on Moonpull results. This innovation allows users to:
- Access faster and more precise results - Use custom AI prompts to query Moonpull data - Generate business-relevant insights that reflect their own commercial goals
Users can see results, which will highlight whether the landing page has an age or country check or an unexpected consent prompt. Users will soon be able to ask questions in plain language. Example queries might include:
- Is the landing page for this offer setting tracking correctly? - Does this show the right product or category? - Is user consent required for tracking to work across all countries? - Are users being redirected to the expected product after consent, with the tracking also working?
The tailored responses are grounded in Moonpull's unique audit data. By enhancing Moonpull's trusted tracking insights with AI-driven analysis, users gain a clearer understanding of matters affecting conversions of clicks to sales, ranging from the relevance of their landing pages to the reliability of the tracking.
This development will be particularly valuable for advertisers that regularly launch new pages or offers, as well as networks managing complex global programs where tracking conditions vary across territories and publisher types.
New Platform
Moonpull's first three years have generated a wealth of insight into how affiliate tracking behaves in the real world, and how affiliate marketers wish to appraise it.
These learnings have now been built into a new version of the Moonpull platform, designed with significantly greater depth — particularly for networks and technical partners who require detailed diagnostics at scale.
The good news is this deeper analysis will benefit both enterprise users such as networks and users wanting the answer to the simple question "does use of this affiliate link lead to the correct tracking being in place?" The new platform is currently in use with selected partners and will roll out for wider use through 2026, as Moonpull integrates further AI functionality and automation.
Moonpull Share
Timely communication of tracking knowledge, especially regarding new "leakage" remains one of the most powerful levers for improving relationships across the affiliate industry. This is being explored in two Moonpull mini-conferences in London, one ahead of PI LIVE and then in a more general panel on "Transparency in the affiliate model" in Las Vegas, ahead of ASW in January 2026.
Our Moonpull Share initiative strengthens that timely communication by enabling Enterprise Publishers to share Moonpull audit data tracking data directly to networks, and potentially if it will generate additional insights to other similar publishers. This data can then be enhanced by networks — e.g. they might know the advertiser has recently changed its underlying platform or analytics methodology, and be passed on to advertisers with such detail to effect a quick resolution of the underlying issue.
The early pilot shows that advertisers are responding positively, addressing issues faster and more openly than before.
Moonpull Share is expanding beyond its current phase by opening out to other partners, helping to embed a more open, data-led dialogue across the industry. It's a trend that is accelerating, with most major networks developing their approaches for introducing more transparency regarding partners to reinforce the confidence amongst the users of the model.
Advertiser Product
Advertisers are increasingly aware that important nuances regarding tracking are often the result of changes on their own websites. Consent platforms, JavaScript tags, and cookies each have the potential to be compromised inadvertently to interrupt or break the affiliate tracking.
To help them navigate this complexity, Moonpull is launching a dedicated Advertiser Product. This is being trialled in a closed beta group, and due for wider release at the start of 2026.
This product will support advertisers, as well as their agencies managing multiple programs, and complements the tracking monitoring undertaken by networks. It thus underpins collaborative tracking monitoring alongside initiatives by publishers and networks, ensuring all parties play a part in monitoring their part of the tracking process.
By offering advertisers direct visibility into how their tracking and consent setups perform, the new product strengthens the shared responsibilities inherent in partnerships that underpin successful affiliate marketing.
The Wider Landscape
Moonpull data shows that around 20% of affiliate programs still have partial or full reliance on third-party tracking, even as browsers and privacy laws make such tracking technology increasingly fragile. In many cases it's due to inadvertent breakage.
With regards to the US market, use of consent platforms is on the rise, up from 5% to 7% over the past year, perhaps following a trajectory similar to Europe's shift several years ago. As Todd Crawford put it in a recent Affiliate Summit / Gen3 podcast: "Consent was more of a European issue, and now that's kind of become more standard in the US. I think the issues are pretty universal."
Without better data and collaboration, the risk is that US advertisers and networks could face the same operational challenges that Europe experienced as privacy laws are tightened.
Looking Ahead
Across the AI overlay, the new deeper platform, the collaborative power of Moonpull Share, and the upcoming Advertiser Product, Moonpull's roadmap for 2026 reflects a single goal:
To give the affiliate marketing industry the tools, data, and confidence it needs to grow transparently and sustainably.
By combining technical accuracy with open collaboration, we believe these developments will set a new standard for how affiliate tracking is understood, managed and improved across the ecosystem.
